Welcome to Campus Childcare!
We’re Michael and Paige Sanchez, the proud owners and operators of Campus Childcare, and we’re so happy you’ve chosen us to care for your little ones. As parents of two kids—and as foster parents to children in our community—we understand how important it is to find a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where children can truly thrive.
In 2018, we moved to Southern Oregon to put down roots and embrace this amazing community. Life keeps us busy in the best ways: between raising our kids, fostering, and running Campus Childcare, our home is always full of laughter (and the occasional chaos!).
Michael holds a full-time career in law enforcement, which means safety and structure are always a priority in everything we do. Paige brings years of experience as a nurse with a focus in critical care and end of life, providing a strong foundation for attentive, compassionate care. Together, we’ve built Campus Childcare on the values we live by every day: kindness, excellence, and doing what’s right.
We’re also incredibly proud of the team we’ve brought together. Our staff is the heart of Campus Childcare, and we ensure they’re equipped with up-to-date training in teaching methods, caregiving techniques, and safety practices. Most importantly, they’re people who share our passion for children and our commitment to creating a positive, nurturing environment for every child.
At Campus Childcare, we aim to be more than just a daycare. We’ve worked hard to create a space where your children can grow, learn, play, and feel safe—while you have peace of mind knowing they’re in trusted hands.
Thank you for choosing us to be part of your child’s journey. We can’t wait to welcome you into the Campus Childcare family!
Warmly,
Michael and Paige Sanchez
About us:
Staff:
Taylor: Lead Teacher/Manager
Hello! I'm Taylor, and I am thrilled to be a part of the team at Campus Childcare! Growing up in the scenic surroundings of Grants Pass, Oregon has instilled in me a deep appreciation for the outdoors, which I'm eager to share with the children here. Exploring nature, trying new foods, and embarking on adventures are some of my favorite pastimes, and I can't wait to bring that sense of excite- ment into our childcare environment.
My journey with childcare began early, as I've spent years babysitting and volunteering at daycares and schools. It's been a joy to witness the growth and development of young minds, and I'm grateful that I can now call it my profession. In addition to my role here at Campus Childcare, I also have the privilege of teach- ing swimming lessons at Club NorthWest to children ages 3-11. Beyond just improving their swim techniques, I focus on instilling confidence in the water and practicing essential water safety skills.
One of the things I love most about working with children is the opportunity to learn from them as much as I teach. Each child brings a unique personality and perspective, making every day a new and exciting adventure. Their creativity, curiosity, and resilience never cease to amaze me. Simply put, kids are the coolest people around!
In my free time, I cherish moments with my significant other and our beloved dog, who has been a part of our family for 16 wonderful years. But I'm always eager to return to the childcare setting, where I can continue to nurture young minds and hearts. I'm looking forward to meeting new faces, caring for more children, and embarking on this fulfilling journey at Campus Childcare!
Hannah: Lead Teacher

While I'm dedicated to providing exceptional childcare, I'm also focused on advancing my education in nursing, currently completing my prerequisites. This dual pursuit not only enhances my ability to care for children but also underscores my commitment to their well-being and development. Outside of work and studies, you'll often find me exploring the great outdoors, whether it's hiking through scenic trails or enjoying picnics in the park. I'm eager to bring my enthusiasm, dedication, and love for children to Campus Childcare, where I'm dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where every child can thrive and flourish.

Payton: Assistant Teacher
Hello! I’m Payton Moody, and I’m so excited to spend my summers with the Campus Childcare team here in beautiful Grants Pass, Oregon. Originally from California, I’m currently pursuing my nursing degree in Arizona with the long-term goal of working in pediatrics. I’m passionate about child development and find it incredibly rewarding to play a supportive role in a child’s growth, confidence, and discovery of the world around them.
Before beginning my journey in nursing, I studied cosmetology and learned the importance of patience, creativity, and care. These are skills I carry with me into the classroom each day. While I’m here in Oregon spending time with family, I’m grateful for the opportunity to bring my love for children and strong faith-based values into a nurturing and playful environment where little ones can thrive.
When I’m not working or studying, I love soaking up the outdoors and staying active, especially on the pickleball court, where I proudly hold the title of family champion! I look forward to making meaningful connections this summer at Campus Childcare and contributing to the joy and development of each child I have the privilege of working with.
Destiny: Assistant Teacher
Hello! I’m Destiny Ortiz, and I’m so grateful to be part of the Campus Childcare team. Ever since I was young, I’ve had a natural love for caring for others, especially children. Olivia: : Assistant Teacher
Hello! I’m Olivia Catlett, and I’m so excited to be part of the Campus Childcare family. I moved to Grants Pass from California, and I’m grateful to bring my love for early childhood education to such a welcoming community.
My passion for working with children began early, I completed all of my Early Childhood Education classes in high school and have spent years gaining hands-on experience through teaching swim lessons, volunteering in church small groups, helping in preschools, and babysitting. These experiences, along with becoming a mom to my sweet almost-one-year-old daughter, have taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of celebrating each child’s unique personality.
Before entering the childcare field full-time, I attended cosmetology school and worked in a salon, where I learned creativity, attention to detail, and how to build meaningful connections with people of all ages.
In my free time, I love doing nails, creating art, spending time outdoors, and relaxing with my family and friends. Being a mom has strengthened my passion for supporting young learners, and it brings me so much joy to watch children discover new things, grow in confidence, and learn through play.
I’m thrilled to be part of Campus Childcare and to help create a nurturing, fun, and engaging environment where every child can thrive.
Heaven: Assistant Teacher
Hi! My name is Heaven Mosley, and I’m truly honored and grateful to be part of the Campus Childcare team. Caring for others has been part of who I am for as long as I can remember, so working with children feels like home. There’s something incredibly special about being trusted with little hearts and growing minds, and I don’t take that lightly.
What brings me so much joy is watching the children discover who they are and celebrating their milestones. What I love most about working with children is that no two minds are the same. Each child brings their own unique way of thinking, learning, and problem solving and I’m so grateful to support them as they navigate through challenges and celebrate their success during their time at Campus and I am so appreciative of the time I get to support them, encourage them, and cheer them on as they learn and grow.
When I’m not at Campus, I love being outdoors, hiking and camping help me recharge. I’m also a creative at heart, whether I’m painting, making jewelry, or experimenting in the kitchen with cooking and baking.
Some of my core values are integrity, inclusion, generosity, and compassion, and I strive to bring those values into everything I do. My goal at Campus Childcare is to create a safe, loving environment where every child feels seen, heard, understood, and deeply valued because every child deserves to feel that kind of care.
